SECTION 1 – THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT & WHAT WE DO WITH IT

This notice applies to all personal information collected or submitted on our Websites and Online Shop. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, register to receive materials or activate crowdbeamer products. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

  • Contact information such as your name, telephone number, address and email address;

  • Profile data, including your username and password, billing address, shipping address and details about your purchases from us;

Whenever you order products, make requests, register to receive materials or activate crowdbeamer products and submit personal information on our Websites and Online Shop, you may receive transactional email messages from us such that we can deliver the specific service that you request. We use Campaign Monitor and ZOHO Campaigns for transactional email. Campaign Monitor’s privacy policy can be found here. More information about ZOHO’s Privacy Policy can be found here. More information about ZOHO’s GDPR Readiness can be found here.

When you browse our Online Shop and Websites, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address to provide us with information on your location, and on the browser and operating system you are using.

We use cookies to help us understand how visitors use our Websites and Online Shop so that we can keep improving them. In addition to our own cookies, we work with Google to help us analyze how the Websites and Online Shop are used.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics helps us analyze how users use our Websites and Online Shop. The information is stored by Google on servers in the United States. This information is provided to us in the form of reports giving general information about the activity on our website. Please note that Google only receives your truncated IP address. This is sufficient for Google to approximately identify the country of your location but is not sufficient to identify you, or your computer or mobile device, individually.

More information on Google Analytics can be found here, including a link to Google’s privacy policy. You can learn more about how to opt-out of tracking in Google Analytics here.

Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

Facebook Pixel, Twitter Tag, and LinkedIn Insight Tag are applied to track conversion and direct relevant stories to our followers. They help us measure our return on investment as they provide us with the information on people’s online behavior that is a reaction to viewing ads. By having the pixels and tags on our Websites, we can track conversions back to the ads running on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Conversion tracking also lets us optimize our cost per impression to show ads to people who are most likely to buy our products.

More information on privacy policies can be found on the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn websites.

Google AdWords and Google Remarketing

We use the online advertising program Google AdWords and the Google Remarketing technology. To measure conversions with Google AdWords, a conversion tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on a link leading to our Websites. Google uses a different cookie for each Google AdWords customer and there is no consolidation of the cookie data with other data. If you click on one of our Ads and proceed to a page equipped with a conversion tag and the cookie has not yet expired, the conversion is documented. With the help of the conversion tracking cookie, we are able to see the total number of conversions and review the performance of our Ads.

When you click on one of our Ads, a Google Remarketing cookie is placed. This cookie helps to serve our Ads to you at a later time when you browse pages of the Google content network. Remarketing cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.

More information on Google AdWords can be found here. More information on Google Remarketing can be found here.

Pingdom Visitor Insights

We use Pingdom Visitor Insights to collect real performance data from visitors of our Websites and our Online Shop and to enhance web performance for our visitors. Pingdom Visitors Insights provides us with the data to evaluate the performance of our Websites and our Online Shop depending on our visitors’ browser, device, operating system and country as it happens in real-time or in a selected time range. This information is provided to us as described and does not enable us to identify you, or your computer or mobile device, individually.

Pingdom is a part of the SolarWinds Cloud family. More information on SolarWinds’ commitment to privacy can be found here.

Google Optimize

We use Google Optimize to test different variations of our Website and our Online Shop, and then tailor it to deliver a personalized experience that works best for our visitors. Native integration of Google Optimize with Google Analytics provides us with behavioral insights that we need to test and deliver optimized visitor experiences.

More information about Google Optimize can be found here.

Hotjar

We use Hotjar to visualize the behavior of the visitors of our Websites and our Online Shop so as to better understand what our visitors want, care about and do on our Websites and our Online Shop by visually representing their clicks, taps and scrolling behavior. SECTION 4 – YOUR RIGHTS

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us.
